One Down -- Four to Go. And What Is That!?

Today was so fantastically gray and cool. I just wanted to lick everything outside. Man it was good. Days like this make me unbelievably happy. More please!

So, I finished one of the baby blankets of which I spoke yesterday. This one is for JDR and Tiff who's baby should show up like any minute. I know for a fact they definitely do not come on here so it's alright to show you. =) See here:

So, I got these fantastic little bobby pins at Anthropologie yesterday and just had to show one off. It is incredibly difficult to take a picture of one's own head. Take a look:

It is also extremely disturbing to see what is going on on one's head. Just take a closer look:

Um, so...I'm 26! I have one child! I stay at home! No longer am I put through traffic-hell and boss-silliness on a daily basis. Where did this come from!? It's especially spooky considering that, uh, I just dyed my entire head black. How did this one little hair escape the dying process? What is going on? I'm greatly disturbed.

Oh, and I thought this was pretty sweet. Turns out, William and I have the same taste in music. Who knew? But cool, right? He's my buddy.

Oh yeah, and this pattern is once again the Scalloped Baby Blanket from Amy Karol's Bend-The-Rules Sewing. The fabric is from Superbuzzy. Of course.

Haha! Don't worry about "the hair." I have found one or two on my own head over the years but they haven't started multiplying yet. I'm holding out hope that I will be like my Grandma and keep my hair color until I turn 80.

That Beatles shirt is great. =)

My mom and my aunt both started getting grey hairs right after high school and one of my sisters just got her first one (she's 19). I've luckily avoided it so far... although haven't taken pictures of the top of my head lately. I think grey hairs are harder to cover with too so that's probably why it didn't take. I wouldn't worry about it too much though.

Hey also speaking of music and babies... I just started picking up on movement intensity inside me and various music... maybe this is all in my head though...

So far I've noticed that baby Jillian moves a lot for Stephen (like last night at church during the music which he sings/leads it was like gymnastics), the Beatles, Paramore, John (not just saying that... a NEVE song came on my iPod in the car yesterday and she went crazy and then one of the SA demo songs I have also got her going) and Johnny Cash... hahaha

On my 26th birthday, I found a gray hair in my eyebrow. It was so sad.

It's when you find them elsewhere you have to worry! And I'm talking about my eyelashes ... actually!

Cara, don't worry about that hair...I just plucked my second while I was at Sheena's . Hate it too!! (I guess having 4 kids and plenty of stress would explain it).
That baby blanket is soooo cute! JDR and Tiff are lucky! I didn't know their baby was due so soon. That seems to have gone by very quickly.

I forgot you have that butter dish too! That makes me like it even more...now I'll think of you every time I see it. It already makes me smile each time. It's just so cute.
