Day Seven - The Grand Canyon

Stunning.

It really is a grand canyon.

The perfect end to a perfect trip.

Day Six - Driving through Utah

Will in Manti.

A stop in Mt. Pleasant.

Driving...

And more driving...

A walk through a peaceful little forest.

I do love me some Aspen.

Can you find John in this picture?

A double rainbow on the way to Page, AZ.

Lightning struck 100 feet from us as we drove through a storm over the Arizona border.

Day Five - Drive through Idaho to Utah

Apparently there wasn't much to take pictures of in Idaho. This is the one and only photo from that day's journey through the Spud State.

Utah!

This is the kind of thing you see on the way to my parents' house.

Alexa in Trevor's glasses.

Half of the sibs. I miss these kids already.

There are quite a few other photos from our time in Utah with my family. However, these are the only ones suitable for mixed company. I've left out the ones of a brother in Daisy Dukes, the same brother with a "front butt", the poor Ground Hound, and other unmentionables. But believe me, it was a good time.

Day Four - Multnomah Falls, Oregon

Look familiar to anyone?

I love green on green.

Just long enough to take a photo.

Sunset driving along the Oregon/Washington border.

Day Four - Portland, OR
(Those are my peeps up there.)

Hotel Modera

Our swanky room. Also, not pictured, dinner at India House. The best Indian food I've ever had.

William knows a good croissant when he sees one. And this was a fantastic one.

The Button Emporium. Every button and trim imaginable.

I don't know why I didn't buy anything. I was just losing my mind in delirium at this point.

Downtown Portland.

A sweet flower shop.

Alexa treated us to $2.00 Belgium chocolates from Leonidas.

Noon Toons.

The Morrison Bridge over the Willamette River.

Playing on the waterfront.

Downtown.

My dear, dear Cupcake Jones.

Boston Cream for me please!

Pretty much one of my favorite places on earth.

When can I move in?

Yum!!

Eating cupcakes in the park.

Goodbye, my true love. I must find a way to come back to stay...
