Oh. Yes.

I may have gone to see this last night wearing a Twilight hoodie. I may have gasped, clapped, or squealed at key moments. And I may be seeing this 2-3 more times this week. At least.

Ruth and I went to the ArcLight in Sherman Oaks last night and it was AWESOME. I think it's my favorite theater. You have assigned seats and they don't let late-comers into the theater. Plus -- look at the sweet lit up collage that took up an entire wall...

I went into this movie fearing and expecting the worst. I left feeling very satisfied and happy with it. It may be confusing/boring to people who haven't read the books, but I loved it!! There were a few things that were less than perfect, but overall I am pleased. And need way more! :)

What did you think?

P.S. Holy crap the new Harry Potter trailer is so incredible!! I get the chills every time I see it. How are we supposed to wait for 8 more months!?!?!

Oh my gosh...I haven't seen twilight yet, and i'm like dying. It's been sold out like every show here. ANd we leave for AZ tomorrow...maybe i'll have more luck down there with the thousands of theaters they have in Mesa. Guess that means Jason gets to come with me...hahaha...
And I'll probably make christie and you come with me again when i get back...hehe.

I totally agree with you, Cara. I thought it was going to be soooo cheesy (and there were moments... like the sparkling...ahem) but all in all I was really happy with how it turned out. I told Jon not to see it, because he probably wouldn't "get it" not having read the books. But for those of us obsessed fans, oh, it was so fun.

Oh man. There are no words.

Yesterday at the theater during "the kiss" scene, someone yelled "what happened to your pants!?!" I was dying.

Get back so we can go again. Hurry!!

I knew I'd enjoy it just because I love the books
BUT..
I'm STILL disappointed by the casting (except for the nomads and Charlie), excessive makeup, "the sparkle thing", weird directing esp. of the first part of the movie and..
the metaphorical killing of my favourite character (Jasper fans, anyone?! pleeease...)

mmm. I guess I'll have to see it again soon
;-)

I need to see it again as well, for words cannot describe how I felt about the movie the first time I saw it. Morgan just told me about the amazing picture that you have with Hanson?! So jealous (not gonna lie, I still enjoy them--haha). Hope that you had a great Thanksgiving!

We just saw this , and loved it...even for not having read the books, I loved it!
So, now, way too late, I"m starting the book because I want more of Edward and Bella! Then, I'll have to see the movie again of coarse. I thought I'd have no interest. oh dear.
