Due Date

Well here we are. October 10. No sign of baby, but I'm being patient. He'll show up when he's ready.

There's really not much to say! My mom's here and we've been working on some different projects to pass the time. She bought me a rocking chair which came today. John put it together and I'm sitting in it now -- I'm so happy to have it!

Hopefully next time you hear from me it'll be a baby announcement!

That's weird. I JUST text messaged you for an update. I've been checking your blog religiously for any sort of update! Are you still keeping really weird sleeping hours? Text me next time you're up in the middle of the night. I'll probably be up too!

That little guy needs to hurry it up already. I am so not being patient. But it is good that you are since you are the mom and everything.

I keep checking my phone when I've been away from it for any period of time to see if I've missed any calls or texts. You having a baby makes me get all nostalgic and think of us back in high school and how far away things like children and rocking chairs felt.... I still feel like the girl who once slept w/ 4 girls on a twin size bed eating cheeseballs and probably annoying any reasonable human to death.

Hi Cara and John,
This is John's other MOM (Kelly Southwell's MOM). I am excited for your new little arrival. Either Kelly tells me how you are doing when I ask or I check your blog. I'm thinking good thoughts for you both and this new little one who will soon join your FAMILY.
Love MOM "J" - Kathy

Hey! Good Luck! I am so jealous, how exciting. I wish I had something to look forward to right now. Except the first two weeks of Gwens life were endless nights of crying for me, so I'm glad I never have to do that again. You are lucky that your mom is there too and that John is okay with her being there!! Hey before you go to the hospital if you get a chance, I need your address.
